kerning- it is the space between two letters if it’s too far from each other it will be awkward to read
tracking- the adjustment of space throughout the whole word
leading-the distance between the upper sentence and the lower sentence that is measured vertically
alignment-the position and arrangements of sentence on a page
ligatures- the merge of two letters that have close position
hyphenation-to break two words with a (-) sign
rag-it is the imbalance vertical margin of a block of type
widows and orphans- orphan is a single word while widow is a sign that is left when words have hyphenation
